Problem from the Brief: Want to position Best Buy as a hub for discovery, not just a store.
Target Audience: Aspiring Gen Z creators
Specific Problem You Are Addressing (if different): Aspiring creators don’t know where to startt.
Insight: 57% of Gen Z wants to be a creator but, they don’t have experience in making content.
Creative Big Idea: To teach Gen Z how to create content in Best Buy stores, we partnered with the internet’s most popular creators.
Execution Ideas: We brought Kai Cenat’s streaming room, Alex Cooper’s podcast set-up, and Zach King’s studio of illusions to all stores and had them give masterclasses on how to make content. Then, we let people create on the set ups, and share the content they made using #Creator’sCorner for a chance to be featured on Best Buy’s socials.
